Why I Started
built from a real
place
I built this community from a very real place…
because I know what it feels like to start from nothing.
No guidance. No support. No clear direction.
Just trying things, making mistakes, second-guessing myself, and hoping I was doing it right. I spent a lot of time figuring things out on my own. Watching, testing, failing, learning… and doing it all without a space where I felt safe enough to ask questions or grow out loud.
And honestly, that part was harder than the craft itself.
Not having people to learn with. Not having people who
understood the process. Not having a place where being a
beginner felt normal.
I always wished I had a genuine community… one where I
could build my skills without feeling judged, where I didn’t
have to pretend I knew everything, and where growth was
valued more than perfection.
So instead of continuing to wish for it… I created it.
This is a space for crafters who are still learning, still building, still finding their way. A space where you can ask questions, make mistakes, try again, and actually grow.
Because being a beginner isn’t something to hide…
it’s where everything starts.
